During my career I’ve been through an extensive list of corporate training classes. Those classes have covered everything from administration operation to people skills and from automotive maintenance needs to computer software systems. During my High School years, I had a dream of owning my own auto service business. Eight months after my Air Force tour, I achieved that dream when I opened my Shell “Auto Care” Service Station on the east side of Ann Arbor. In 2002, after 22 years with Shell service stations, I bought the building on E. Hoover Avenue in downtown Ann Arbor and moved my repair business to focus on auto repair in Ann Arbor without the fuel sales business. In 2013 I put a team together to open a second Ann Arbor auto repair shop, Stadium Auto Service. And in 2016, opened the third Ann Arbor auto repair shop, State Street Auto Service. In 2021 we opened our fourth auto service shop Abbott Street Auto Service. Other than 4 years in the US Air Force, I’ve been an Ann Arbor / Saline resident since 1971.
